Our Pool:

Our secluded, outdoor, in-ground salt warm water private pool is perfect for meditation and regenerative therapies. It has pristine body-temperature water of 95°F and our state of the art water sanitation system consists mainly of Ozone (O3) and UV light with a small amount of residual chlorine generated by our salt system. Body temperature water is perfect for regenerative water therapies like Watsu and Aquatic Healingwork.

Our Sauna:

Far Infrared Sauna

Our healthy near zero EMF Far Infrared Sauna (FIRS) is perfect for assisting your health and wellbeing, increasing your endurance recovery, treating chronic pain and safely detoxifying (heavy metals, mold and other toxins and pathogens that may impair our immune system).

Studies show that infrared saunas can help boost heart health and reduce blood pressure. The improved blood circulation brought on by an infrared sauna session can help speed up muscle recovery following physical activity.

Other studies have shown that deep penetration of infrared heat (approximately 3-4 cm into fat tissue and neuromuscular system) with mild temperature (35-50°C), and light humidity (25-35%) during far infrared sauna bathing appears favorable for the neuromuscular system to recover from maximal endurance performance. FIRS bathing is a very light loading for the body and provides a comfortable and relaxing experience.

Researchers have also found that infrared sauna therapy “may be a promising method for treatment of chronic pain.” The determination followed a two-year study where people showed improved outcomes with the treatment.

Setting aside some sauna time may help decrease depression, anxiety, stress and get better sleep, which has also been linked to sauna use

There’s also evidence that regular sauna use can help you avoid the common cold. Saunas also reduce oxidative stress, which is associated with cardiovascular disease, cancer and degenerative diseases like dementia.

Studies have shown that saunas were well tolerated and posed no health risks to healthy people from childhood to old age but please always consult your doctor before using a sauna.

What is Rebounding?

Rebounder

Rebounding is a type of aerobic exercise that is performed while jumping on a mini-trampoline. Jumps can be fast or slow, and can be mixed with rest or aerobic stepping. It’s generally appropriate for people of all ages, from children to older adults.

Rebounding can help work the muscles in the legs, increase your endurance, and strengthen your bones, among a number of other benefits. This type of exercise is gentle on the joints but allows you to work your cardiovascular and lymphatic system without taxing the body.

Benefits of Rebounding:

  • Strengthens muscles: works the abdominal (core), leg, buttock, and deep back muscles.
  • Improves coordination and transmission of nerve impulses between brain and muscles, promoting better balance, coordination, and overall motor skills.
  • Slows down atrophy in the aging process.
  • Supports bone density, bone strength, and bone formation, while decreasing bone resorption, so it may be a good option if you have osteoporosis. Bouncing puts small amounts of pressure on the bones, which helps them grow stronger.
  • May help improve endurance.
  • Promotes weight loss.
  • Enhances digestion and elimination
  • Curtails fatigue and menstrual pain in women.
  • Provides stress relief.
  • Aids in lymphatic drainage and detox by stimulating the lymphatic system. Rebounding may help your body flush out toxins, bacteria, dead cells, and other waste products.
  • May support pelvic floor health, according to anecdotal reports. Bouncing works the muscles of the deep core that help prevent urinary incontinence and stabilize hip joints.

How does Rebounding help Detox?

Jumping on a rebounder is often listed as one of the most effective exercises for detoxification because it actually promotes detoxification of the lymphatic system.

The lymph nodes help to pump fluid and toxins in and out of the body. But when the body is weakened from toxins or stress, many toxins enter the lymph nodes and never get pumped back out. So when you are rebounding you are helping your body by “manually” pumping the toxins out with each bouncing movement.

The rebounder also helps to bring additional oxygen to the skin, and improve circulation.

In terms of calorie burn, it's been reported that a 150-pound person could burn 410 calories an hour while rebounding, and only 355 while running.
