Experience Deep Healing Through Watsu & Aquatic Healingwork

Are you looking to relieve stress, reduce pain, or reconnect with your inner peace? Watsu & Aquatic Healingwork offers a transformative, water-based therapy that promotes deep relaxation, emotional release, and physical healing. In a world where stress is responsible for up to 95% of illnesses, according to Harvard Medical School and other research, it’s essential to find a pathway to true relaxation.

What Is Watsu & Aquatic Healingwork?

Watsu & Aquatic Healingwork are specialized transformative therapies performed in warm, body-temperature water. During a one-on-one session, you are supported through gentle, rhythmic movements that stretch, cradle, and massage your body. This process combines elements of Shiatsu, massage, yoga, and dance, creating an immersive and nurturing healing experience.

Why Water?

Water creates an ideal environment for healing. Floating in body-temperature water mirrors the safety and tranquility of being in the womb—a state of oneness and complete surrender. In this serene setting, your body’s defenses naturally soften, allowing you to release tensions, stress, and trauma. The buoyancy of the water gently supports every movement, making it easier to let go of physical restrictions and emotional blockages.

A Pathway to Healing

Watsu & Aquatic Healingwork not only provide physical relief but also reset your body’s natural relaxation response. The warm water, combined with the fluid movements, helps to calm the nervous system, encouraging healing on every level: physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual. This therapy is designed to leave you feeling rejuvenated, balanced, and whole.

The Benefits of Watsu & Aquatic Healingwork:

  • Reduce Stress & Anxiety: Feel the water’s embrace as it melts away layers of stress and anxiety. Watsu helps reset your body’s stress response, promoting calmness and balance.
  • Release Trauma & Repressed Emotions: Gently unwind trauma, PTSD symptoms, and suppressed emotions in a safe, supportive environment. The combination of warm water and soothing movements helps release emotional pain and tension.
  • Improve Sleep Quality: Clients frequently report deep, restorative sleep after their sessions, often describing the experience as “sleeping like a baby.” Watsu helps reset your body, restoring the ability to rest deeply.
  • Boost Immune Function: By promoting relaxation and reducing stress, Watsu naturally enhances your immune system and improves overall health.
  • Alleviate Chronic Pain & Fibromyalgia: Watsu therapy is especially beneficial for chronic pain sufferers, including those with fibromyalgia. Studies show significant reductions in pain, fatigue, and depression after Watsu therapy.
  • Enhance Flexibility & Mobility: The buoyancy of water allows your muscles to be gently stretched and massaged without strain. Whether you’re looking to improve your range of motion or relieve stiffness, Watsu is an excellent way to support your body’s natural flexibility.
  • Support Cardiovascular & Digestive Health: Watsu improves circulation and reduces blood pressure while aiding digestion by activating your body’s natural relaxation response.
  • Exercise for All Bodies: For those with physical limitations or disabilities, Watsu offers a gentle, effective form of exercise that enhances both physical and mental well-being.

About our Facility:

Watsu pool

We're located in Hollywood FL, only 30 minutes north of Miami, and 15 minutes from Fort Lauderdale, in a very quiet neighborhood, where you'll only hear the sound of birds and wind gently passing through the palm trees, Ideal for your R&R quiet retreat.

We're very health conscious and proud of offering a state of the art filtration & sanitation system for the water in our pool. You won't be smelling any chlorine during your session.

Our secluded, outdoor, in-ground salt warm water pool has pristine body-temperature water at around 95°F and our water sanitation system consists mainly of Ozone (O3) and UV light with a small amount of residual chlorine generated by our salt system. Body temperature water is perfect for regenerative water therapy.

Our salt level is similar to that of an intravenous saline solution, which is less than 10 times the amount of salt in ocean waters, so it's very mild.

All of our healing and bodywork sessions include the use of our facility including hot shower, bathrobe and fresh towels.
