Objective: To replenish essential nutrients and nourish your body, mind & soul — giving the body the wholesome building blocks it needs to repair damage and regain balance and vitality.
The Nourishing Phase. A good holistic wellness and recovery program starts by giving the body the wholesome building blocks it needs. This phase focuses on a balanced, varied diet rich in whole foods — fruits, vegetables, lean protein, and healthy fats — to support your body's basic functions and overall health.

Focus on an Organic Whole-Food Plant-Based diet, adding only good-quality grass-fed organic meats and omega-3-rich fish like wild salmon as needed.
Avoid all processed foods. You want food that is alive.
Avoid refined sugars at all costs. We're going to train your body to get its energy from good-quality fats, not from glucose.
Reduce total carbohydrates to a maximum of 20 grams a day.
Eat plenty of green leafy vegetables.
Eat plenty of high-quality fats rich in Omega-3s: grass-fed butter or ghee, avocados, salmon, sardines.
Eat plenty of polyphenol-rich foods: broccoli, blueberries, raspberries.
Reduce stress — it throws the system off, makes it acidic, and makes us crave sugar for fast energy. Make time each day to deeply nourish body, mind, and spirit: meditation, yoga, and regular nourishing bodywork. Read about stress.
